Laura Leibowitz is a trial lawyer who devotes her practice to the resolution of complex commercial matters, including contract disputes, business torts, corporate governance, labor and employment issues, as well as real property disputes and wills, trust and estate contests.

Ms. Leibowitz has over 20 years of experience as a litigator and has earned a reputation as an aggressive and thorough trial attorney. Ms. Leibowitz is able to quickly identify and address the legal issues in a situation in order to advise her clients and arrive at a strategy that will result in a successful resolution, whether through negotiation or litigation.

Early in her career, Ms. Leibowitz served as a criminal prosecutor for the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Fairfax County. After leaving the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, Ms. Leibowitz practiced in a variety of areas of civil litigation with a particular focus on domestic relations, as well as criminal defense. More recently, Ms. Leibowitz served the judges of the 20th Judicial District in the Circuit Court of Loudoun County as a staff attorney. Her work for the Court on complex civil matters provides her with a unique perspective and invaluable experience that she brings to her current practice.

Ms. Leibowitz is admitted to practice in the state courts of the Commonwealth of Virginia as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
