Catherine M. Marks’s litigation practice focuses on complex commercial disputes. Before entering private practice, Ms. Marks worked as a legal fellow at Grameen Foundation. She previously gained litigation experience as a law clerk at Shackelford, Bowen, McKinley & Norton LLP, drafting pleadings on a wide variety of civil litigation matters with a particular emphasis on music industry disputes. She also received trial practice training as a judicial intern to the Honorable John T. Nixon of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee. Ms. Marks additionally explored intellectual property matters through legal internships with international fashion house Stuart Weitzman as well as the Volunteer Lawyers and Professionals for the Arts.
